A main reason why I started my business in the same field I have been in for so many years, is to offer services to customers that other companies refused. I would make cleaning, landscaping, junk removal, exclusion work, sanitation recommendations to customers and they would always ask, "Do you know someone who can do that?" I would ask a manager if I can just free up some time and do this for a customer and they would tell me, we are not a cleaning company, we are not a junk removal company, we don't do exclusion work...WHY? When a customer is asking you for a, additional service, the worst thing you can say is "We don't do that". The best 2 things you can say is, I can provide a quote for all of that, or, let me call the (trade) company I work with and they will be able to help you.
I found a way to go out and do this work for clients on the weekends as a side hustle, or recommend a tradesmen I know for a little commission. Then I started to see the potential of a full-service company and after a while I didn't want to represent a company that doesn't offer that level of service. SO HERE I AM!
