If selected, I’ll be investing the grant into Skilled Trades Genius (STG)—a platform that’s combining the power of social media with hiring, built specifically for the skilled trades.
Think of it as TikTok meets Indeed and ZipRecruiter—where electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, welders, mechanics, landscapers, and 80+ other trades can showcase their skills through videos and photos instead of relying only on a traditional résumé. Employers can discover talent, connect directly, and hire with confidence.
The grant would help accelerate development, expand the platform, strengthen AI-powered features, and bring more contractors, business owners, and skilled workers together in one community.
My goal isn’t just to build another job board—it’s to create the go-to platform where the skilled trades can network, learn, showcase their work, and get hired.
Wishing everyone the best of luck. No matter who wins, we’re all building something great for our industries. 💪🔧🏗️🚛
