Employee Training Software

Does anyone have a software they recommend for creating / uploading employee training material?

This is probably one of the only areas we always handle in-house with our team...

Reason being, most software platforms only allow you to "build" on their platform and/or templates. If and/when you leave someday, you can't take it with you. Also, if the company pivots, dissolves or mergers, you can lose all of your info and/or rights to the info. No bueno!
Another reason we do this in-house, it allows and empowers the team to build out the SOP's, Handbooks and/or Manuals TOGETHER. It's turned out to be a very successful team building activity, and also helps people align with the Mission and Vision.

    We build out in:
    Google Drive

    using:
    Google Doc's for Rough Drafts

once finalized we turn them into PDF's

    using:
    Google Drive.

    then:
    Print, Share, Etc...

Feel free to let me know if you have any more questions along your journey!

  • Check out something called Gemba docs and also another platform called Trainual.

  • I have used invideoai to create training as it does a great job of creating videos from prompts. If you pay you can edit the images etc as well to tailor to your business. Citation Canada (formerly HrDownloads)  is a great option for assigning the training

I use Talentcards. It's a simple flip-card style LMS that is fun to use and features tests, rankings, etc. We used to use Trainual, but it was much more expensive and more formal.
