I direct everyone to our website. They scan this QR code with their phone, and it opens up a self-recording video. I ask three different questions, and they answer those questions on video. That video comes to me through a program called LiveSwitch. Once LiveSwitch gets the video, it also runs an AI report on the applicant, and it is extremely detailed. After that, I review ones that are scored highly, and I reach out to them.
This saves me an amazing amount of time. I also get to see the applicant and how they speak instead of only getting a resume. It allows me to sort of get an idea of their character before I bring them into the office.
that's awesome, i tell people all the time to ask for video applications, resumes can be faked but how someone carries themselves on camera and during an interview tells you way more than a resume ever will. thanks for sharing Byron!
