Pulling Job Internal Notes with Zapier

Hi y'all,

I'm working with a client of mine that uses Jobber and has used them for years, but I'm fairly new to the platform. I work in digital marketing and I'm working on creating a new tool for them.

In order for the tool to work, I'm first just trying to export specific data from Jobs into a Google Sheet. I've been able to export everything I need except "internal notes". I can't seem to find that field to map to anywhere. Is it labeled something else or just not there?

Ultimately I need the pics from the project and my client uploads them to that field.

Open to ideas or suggestions and happy to expand on what I'm working on if anyone is curious.

Thanks in advance!

Matt

Hey Matt! Unfortunately, there is no way to pull a report of internal notes. However, this is really good feedback which I've passed along to our Success Team.

Curious to see if other members have any workarounds or suggestions!

  • Thanks Julie for responding! Is there another field they can add pics to or notes to that we could pull data on? Open to other solutions or options.

Hey Matt, good follow-up question. There are no other fields within Jobber where you can add pics. No export options for notes. However, it can run reports on custom fields, and company cam might be a better alternative for your pictures.

Pulling the internal note info on jobs is unfortunately not currently supported by our Zapier integration, but it’s on our radar for adding in the future. Within the Zapier tool, you can use the get help button to submit feature requests. That is the best place to request any sort of additional functionality like this.

We also have our Developer Center, where you can build custom integrations. This requires more technical programming skills, but you can totally read all of the internal note data from jobs in there.
