Blocking time in jobber schedule as unavailable

Does anyone know how to block off time in Jobber when not available? Since Jobber does not do a two-way sync with Google calendar, I need a way to block off time in Jobber when I'm not available. I don't want to have to change my business hours or make fake jobs in jobber to block off time for personal appointments. Does anyone know how to get around this? 

For example, if my hours are 10 am to 7pm, but I have a doctors appointment at 11 AM, how can I make it so nobody can book me during that time?

    Hi all,

    Great question, this can definitely be a bit tricky.

    LukeE​ To block off time from online booking, it needs to be scheduled as a task or visit with set start and end times, not a calendar event, as events won’t prevent bookings.

    SharkSpark​  If you’re still able to be booked during that time, a couple things to check:

    • Make sure the task is assigned to the correct team member(s). If you’re trying to block off a full day or prevent any bookings during that window, it may need to be assigned to all relevant team members, depending on your booking setup.
    • It may also be related to the recurrence of the task, if it’s set to repeat, it’s worth double-checking that the timing and pattern are aligning with when you’re trying to block availability.

    This setup helps ensure that time is properly recognized as unavailable for scheduling.

    Hello, I have the same issue. I scheduled a fake task for a couple of weeks, assigned it to myself (since I’m currently the only team member), and was still able to make a booking online on my website.

    We schedule time off by adding tasks that block the availability in the calendar.

      So do you use tasks, or calendar events? I tried making a calendar event "blocked time" and i can still schedule online during that time. Any help/clarification would be much appreciated.
