Design a killer offer with a lead magnet. Speed, and effort and sacrifice are the hardest overcomes with something like painting. They want to know that you can be trusted in their home, you wont cause more problems than they have currently, and that you'll be in and out and make it painless. Offer, '1 day room painting guarantee' - if we're not done in a day we'll give you our profit. (and mean it) - but be upfront about it when you get called in to do the quote, if you cant commit, let them know then, and theyll appreciate your honesty. "I'm sorry, but this job is just too large for a one day turn around, it will probably take us two." Build trust. Offer a discount for a refferral and a 5 star review. Call it a thank you, and have $25 wawa or starbucks gift cards on hand for them to do it while theyre standing in front of you while youre wrapping up the job. 2 referral contacts + a 5 star google rating = $25 gift card upon completion. More important than anything - speed to lead. CALL PEOPLE BACK, communicate schedule clearly, show up when you say you will and on time.
