Missed call / Auto text back AI agent

I see a lot of people have these set up with High Level.

Is this a game changer do I need this?

I do have a human admin that takes all our calls during the day, but sometimes she's already on that line or she's busy, and we miss the odd call.

Just thinking I should probably set this up. Looking for some feedback.

Thanks a lot.

  • Yes, it is absolutely a game-changer. You should definitely set it up.

Even with a killer admin, she can only handle one call at a time. In home services, people are incredibly impatient—if they get a busy signal or voicemail, they don't wait. They hang up and call the next business on Google.

An auto-text back instantly stops them from shopping around by locking them into a text conversation with you.

If you do it, just follow these three quick rules to make it convert:

    • Add a 1-minute delay: HighLevel’s instant reply feels like a robot. A 60-second delay looks like your admin noticed the missed call and typed a quick text.
    • Keep it casual: Stiff templates don't work. Keep it human: "Hey there! Sorry we just missed your call, we're currently helping another client. How can we help you out today?"
    • Route the replies: Make sure that when they text back, your admin gets an instant notification on her desktop or mobile app so she can take over the thread and book the job.

Saving just one missed job a month completely pays for the software for the year. It takes 10 minutes to build and acts as the perfect safety net for your admin. Turn it on!
