Virtual assistant

Sorry if this is a repeat post. I did some searching on here and didn’t find what I’m asking. I keep hearing about virtual assistants used for service pros. I’m a 1 man show right now trying to delete and automate as much as possible to leave room for growth and expansion. I heard virtual assistants can help with a number of task. Does anyone have a company they refer or use? What has been the feed back? How has that helped utilizing a VA and Jobber together?
Thank you !

We have 2 that are our front end of our office. Answering all calls, emails, live chats, scheduling, preparing payroll, running reports and creating content on Canva and more. Then we have one that used to do remote estimates and we recently made her my wife and I personal assistant and man that has been extremely helpful and beneficial!

We built our business with VA's and freelancers and continue to leverage them to this day. I've worked with some of them for over 7 years and have never met them in person. We ONLY use Upwork.com and have had great success with that platform.

  • I know a lot of fantastic VA’s and freelancers I can recommend.  I train admin and VA’s on Jobber all time.

I built a freelancer directory of independent freelancers that serves the trades specifically should be operational shortly.

if you have questions I’m happy to answer them for you

  • We use a VA in our office to manage our task lists, scheduling, receptionist and most admin duties.  It has cleared up our admin bottleneck, and has allowed us to grow much faster.  Our VA is through Cyberbacker, and I can't recommend them any higher!   PoolsScientific.com

  • We hired a VA ourselves. She's fantastic. We have her deal with the customer service email address, she sends job forms, collects client feedback and sends it out, communicates job form issues and service issues, fixes time sheets and is available to our techs to fix their day to day scheduling problems

I've been outsourcing to Mexico, India, and the Philippines for over 20 years. My longest VA relationship is going on 16 years.  That is to say, you can absolutely find great talent abroad. Currently, I use onlinejobs.ph to find VAs. The starting pay I offer is usually $800 USD/mo for a full-time VA. I just searched the site, and I see that 28 individuals list Jobber as an experience/software they previously used.  One of the site's features I really like is that applicants can post their IQ and DiSC assessments right on their profile.  Makes finding the right candidate(s) much faster.

  • Yes, hiring Filipino VAs can help but you have to train them. You can also utilize AI call agents to answer and schedule estimates. Our agency has a system specialized for local home service businesses. That’s another way you can help reduce costs and leverage technology.
