You can type out a chat on desktop or mobile, or use Voice on the mobile app to dig into your pricing questions.Customer Q: What plan is the Tap to Pay included in? How much does it cost?
Tap to Pay is available on all plans in the United States through the Jobber mobile app. Please note, you must have Jobber Payments enabled to use this feature. We are able to offer a lower rate on payments processed via Tap to Pay at 2.7% + 30 cents per transaction.Customer Q: How is Quote Options different from Optional Line Items?
Optional/Recommended line items provides to ability to upsell optional add-ons, where a client is not required to make a choice. With Quote Option Sets, the client must choose one of the options within the option set. You can add up to three option sets to a single quote, and the client makes one clear choice per set. This keeps decisions simple and structured while still giving clients flexibility. ⚠️ While you can use Optional/Recommended line items as a workaround, this can create confusion since clients aren’t required to pick one. That means you could miss out on getting a clear decision, or worse, risk miscommunication about what’s actually included.Customer Q: How does Tap to Pay work? Do we need a separate device or app to perform it?
No extra device, app, or hardware needed—Tap to Pay is built right into the Jobber app! All you need to do is select Tap to Pay when you go to collect payment on a quote deposit or invoice. Follow the prompts on screen and have the client tap their card or digital wallet (Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay). It's fast, easy, and secure!
