What percentage of revenue did you spend on marketing in 2025, and what's your 2026 target?
We try to keep our marketing spend in the 5–7% range. I’m curious where others landed for 2025 and what you’re targeting for 2026. For growing service businesses, what marketing percentage actually drove healthy growth in 2025, and what level of spend has proven sustainable for you year over year?38Views0likes1CommentWhat Are the Best Practices for Expanding Painting Service Contracts?
I have a painting service contract for our customers. It has worked out well for the last year but we haven't signed up a lot of customers. I think we have 15 customers on service contracts right now. I really want to vamp this up but I am hoping to get insight from other businesses on best practices for service contracts. I'm also trying to figure out if I should just sell as many as I can and then hire a full time person to service those clients, or keep slowly adding them until I can hire someone full-time to do it. I have been hesitant to go after this super hard because I don't want to be in a position where I can't get to our service contract clients for too long.65Views0likes1CommentAre there any car detailers on Jobber?
Hello Jobber community, I’m Zane Smith, a 21-year-old business owner based in Broward County, Florida, and co-owner of Spray Wipe Wash alongside my partner, Niwangee Nicolas (22). We run a luxury vehicle detailing company built around dealership-level standards. Over the past six years, I’ve specialized in detailing Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lamborghini, and other high-end and exotic brands, working directly with those dealerships. That experience shaped how we operate Spray Wipe Wash today—every vehicle gets treated like it’s sitting on a showroom floor, not in a driveway. While our core focus is luxury automotive detailing, we’re actively expanding into boat, plane, and residential detailing to offer a full premium care experience for our clients’ entire portfolio of assets. We’re new to Jobber and I’ve noticed there aren’t many car detailing companies on here, so I’m excited to connect with other owners, share ideas, and grow alongside a community that takes their business as seriously as we do.87Views2likes9CommentsLooking to collaborate with Junk removal, landscape or cleaning companies.
Hello Jobber world, I am a small Canadian owned and operated pest control company operating in Toronto, Ontario. I am putting this message out to try to get in touch with a small commercial cleaning, landscape and junk removal company to share some work. Also open to creative ideas also, pressure washing comapnies, HVAC, construction, lawn care...anything we can do as small business owners to share the work. My business model is a full service pest control company, and all three of these services are going to be offered to my customers due to the importance of each. I plan to do most of it myself at the beginning, but would like to have some other local Canadian owned small business owners to share work leads. I do not want to work with a large operation to outsource work because I am a huge believer in owner/operated businesses, hence why I (and likely yourself) started my own business I would love to hear from anyone reading this and you can email me anytime at pestfreecanada@gmail.com47Views1like1CommentLaunching This Summer Looking for Tips on Hosting a Free Service Day for Veterans & Seniors

Building a pressure washing business with sweat equity. I've been leaving flyers and tear aways at local businesses. About to post some on local Facebook groups, is there any additional advice for adding customers but keeping it local and personal. I am hoping to build a locally recognized company... patriot Pressure Washing, PPW!365Views8likes9Comments
