Do you utilize battery-powered tools?
Handheld battery-powered tools have come a long way from their first iterations, especially over the past few years. I've started making the switch away from gas-powered equipment throughout the last few seasons for my business and have found the switch to be positive for my workflow and bottom line. This is a trend I believe will continue as batteries become more powerful and long-lasting. Are you utilizing any battery-powered equipment and, if so, do you have any favorites you'd like to share??611Views3likes10CommentsSweat equity
Building a pressure washing business with sweat equity. I've been leaving flyers and tear aways at local businesses. About to post some on local Facebook groups, is there any additional advice for adding customers but keeping it local and personal. I am hoping to build a locally recognized company... patriot Pressure Washing, PPW!112Views6likes7CommentsCurious ... do most teams back up job files from Jobber?
Hey all, just wondering if this is something others have run into. A few of our clients have been talking about how they handle long-term storage of job photos and documents, especially when staff leave, or when they want to organize files outside of Jobber. Some mentioned wanting to move things to Google Drive or DropBox automatically, but I’m not sure how common that need really is. Just curious, have you or your team thought about this? Is keeping a backup of Jobber media files part of your process, or not really a concern? Appreciate any thoughts! Josh54Views0likes0CommentsAnyone using automation to save time and money?
Hey everyone! I’ve been testing out some automation tools alongside Jobber to streamline my window cleaning business — things like auto-replies to leads, follow-ups for quotes, and syncing bookings with my calendar in real time. Curious if anyone else here is using automation to simplify their operations or boost client communication? I’m working on some AI-based workflows and would love to swap ideas or even show what I’ve been building if there’s interest. What tasks are you still doing manually that you wish could be automated?88Views2likes1CommentSales Marketing

Hey guys! Wondering if anyone here has experience with paying employees commission instead of hourly. How is that working for you guys? How do you have it set up to where you’re making the profit you need and the employee is happy and motivated to work hard? At what percentage do you pay? Thanks!505Views6likes12CommentsSubcontractor agreements
Happy Thanksgiving! I am subbing out a couple pressure washing jobs in the coming weeks and need some contracts in place with the subs. Would like for them to assume liability if using my equipment, be paid upon job completion and satisfaction, and agree to adhere to high quality standards. Anyone have something I can poach? Thank you!349Views2likes6Comments
