Quickbooks Deposits Not Matching Invoices
Heres the problem: We send a quote out, it requires a 25% deposit. Jobber collects the deposit, quickbooks registers the payment, but with NO invoice # since an invoice has not been completed. Once the job is complete, an invoice is issues. The data is not matching and recording properly in quickbooks. How do I make quickbooks work efficiently with jobber while using deposits with my customers?
Quickbooks vs Xero!
Which have you guys found is easier to sync with jobber? quickbooks, or Xero? I tried syncing my account with Quickbooks, but I had $40k worth of undistributed funds, and would have to go through about 1,000 invoices individually to fix. called Jobber, they said its was quickbooks fault, and quickbooks said it was jobbers fault. I hate that there isn't someone from both ends that will hop on a call with you! Will most likely switch to Xero, what's been your guys experience with them?
QB Desktop and Jobber
I would like to talk with someone that uses QB Desktop and Jobber for their business. I am trying to figure out my workflow for using both programs. I do not want to manually enter any invoices into QB. If there is a company out there that is using these two programs I’d love to connect and hear how you are using them together.
Quotes, Deposits and Quickbooks....
Hi, when a client approves a quote and leaves a deposit dropper does not allow Quickbooks to recognize it. I actually need to create an invoice in order for Jobber to allow Quickbooks that recognize it. The only problem is the job has not been done yet they've only provided a deposit. So then what I end up having to do is create an invoice just so that deposit payment gets recognized by Quickbooks. Then I have to create another invoice when the job is actually done could be days or months depending on the job and that doesn't show the deposit I received when the job was approved. That I have to manually add it and it screws my Quickbooks Up! Who else lives this nightmare?
