As a new Handyman business, what do people suggest I do as affordable marketing options?

Thanks for the in depth reply. I think I've been doing ok on my business profile and Facebook posting, but should definitely step up my photo gallery a bit more. I'm currently also trying to offer some of my time free to some local non profits hoping that may accelerate some visibility as well.

Do you have any advise on how to approach conversations with other contractors? I'm specifically interested in the cleaning companies. Should I ring them up and offer a 10-15% commission or something like that?
