What got me into it was a mix of public service, investigation, and a genuine interest in figuring out how things happen. I spent years in law enforcement working in accident investigation and reconstruction, and over time I realized how much good, evidence-based analysis can do for people after a serious crash. What really kept me in the field is that it sits at the intersection of technology, problem-solving, and service. Every case is different, and the work can involve scene evidence, vehicle damage, black box/EDR data, diagnostics, and human factors. I enjoy being able to turn complex information into clear findings that help clients, attorneys, insurers, and others make informed decisions.
