Integration with SendJim

Hey everyone, I am wanting to automate our process for sending out a "Thank You Card" after specific milestones in our customer journey. For example, after doing an estimate, after the job is completed, and then start a sequence of Holiday post cards. Is "SendJim" the best way to do this, or is there another software that you use to do this?

  • Hey Branden. I think SendJim is a great solution overall!

According to the documentation from Jobber you can have a one-time mail campaign or a multi-step campaign. The multi-step campaign can be triggered when a job has been scheduled or when an invoice has been paid; that's it.

SendJim's documentation is a bit better in that it states you can trigger a mailing based on invoice paid, job scheduled, quote sent, or quote approved which is definitely much better. Additionally you can set a "max frequency" per address which is great for recurring service providers.

Based on your requirements (after doing an estimate, after the job is completed) it looks like it gets you almost what you want.

Alternatively you could use Zapier and SendJim. This could expand the start/trigger options for your automation. SendJim has something called a Quick Send that you could leverage as an action in your automation sequence.

If you wanted to go really crazy and customize the Thank You Card with specific details from the Quote/Job using the client's name or even a custom field that you might have you could use Adhesion Connect in conjunction with Zapier and something like Thankster or Handwrytten.

Hope this helps as you plan for this automation. It's things like these that really set companies apart and help clients remember them!
