We've found most people have to go through a few marketing agencies before they find one that works for them. You should ask the agency if they have a process or system that they use regularly (check for results against that). Also, be sure to check who will be working on your business specifically - you want to make sure you align with and trust them. Lastly, the best question we've gotten is for references from businesses that are not in our case studies or testimonials - it gives you an opportunity to talk to someone that had an average or regular experience with the agency.

I'm in my second month and I'm started to get calls with real SEO's it takes time. I have had a lot better success then using Yelp. They respond fast. I'm a 2 truck shop and this is helping me get out of the ground up plumbing work and more service.
