Outside workers, what are you doing to stay busy in the winter months?

I wonder what other service providers are doing in the winter months? Are you taking the time for your team and you to relax and recuperate? Holding training sessions? Are you offering other services to stay productive? We have relationships with homeowners and business owners and can offer other services for them, wondering of there are are crazy shifts in services out there? For example, the lawn guy at my parents house puts up their Christmas lights and decorations. Would love to hear other stories like that!

  • Hi Daniel - This would be an easier question to answer if we knew what business you're in. Christmas lights is a popular trend but it's not as simple as it seems. Possible though! Is there a reason you're not busy in the winter? Provide some more context and then let's talk!

Hey Adam, I own Pest Free Canada, we are a full service pest control company, and we do commercial and residential pest control. So in the winter months the focus is more on commercial as pests are present all year round. In the spring, summer and even fall we are busy with residential, but the winter is more just contractual checkups. I was more just seeing what other business are offering to see if there was something we could transition into since we have these great relationships with our residential customers already. We like to add value where we can, and also look out for new opportunities if it's something we can manage.
