At this point staying relevant. There is just so much out there on the internet that it is hard to compete.

So real, the content landscape moves so fast. Something that’s helped a few creators lately is focusing less on competing broadly and more on showing up authentically for a specific audience or niche, which sounds like you're already doing!

I think it's really about repetition and consistency. Every video I feel more confident. You also don't have to recreate the wheel; find videos you like and use as inspiration. I also recommend using notion and mapping out topics and hot button subjects within your industry and then using chat GPT to create a script for a video. Keep the videos one minute or less!

That’s such a great mindset, Fred. I love that you mentioned repetition as a confidence builder! It’s so true, every video helps you find your rhythm a bit more.
Do you have a favorite way you organize your video ideas in Notion (like by category, platform, or audience pain point)? I think a lot of members would find that helpful!

You can also hire a VA for the editing!

Oh wow, I wasn't aware that VAs can also help out with editing. Good to know!

I would love to get into social media but the main thing holding me back from actually doing it is, I own a pest control company and we usually see some sensitive material. I don't think the restaurant down the street would want me to be filming the food they leave on the floor, or the unsanitary conditions, or the cockroaches climbing on their plates... Some restaurants would probably allow to promote their cleanliness but that wouldn't make for good content! There are some promotional videos I have thought about posting but how many of those could you do and stay relevant?
I am also not a big fan of social media personally and don't really care for it. In the home service industry nothing you can do online will make up for poor service. I would rather spend my time and money perfecting my trade and becoming better at what I offer my customers.

PestFreeCanada - totally understand. Our content never reveals the client and it is close up. I hear you on social media. In my experience it plays into our online presence more and it really effects our sales. We get leads :)
