What are some ways to remarket your business that are effective?

I am basically starting all over from scratch other than the five or so clients that I currently have. I've been a solo cleaner since 2022 and have been able to keep my business afloat without any debt and making sure everything is in order in my office. From 2023 to the end of 2024 I had a very successful cleaning business because of a apartment complex I was cleaning for on a regular basis, I no longer have that client or situation. I am coming to a portion of trying to get clients again and I'm not sure if I need to lower my rates at this point, but I don't know if my marketing game is on point right now.

So my question is what are you doing to market your business to bring in more clientele? How are you advertising?

Thank you! - Teig

  • One of the biggest things I've learned with my new company is door knocking and leaving a card or flyer. I generate more calls or clients that way rather than none with paid advertising.

  • I agree! I have started afresh this year with clients. Learning the new way of networking and relationship building.  I have gotten most clients in the past organically and word of mouth. I am ready to open up to more commercial and contracting opportunities!

    Good luck on your journey!!

    Thanks for the feedback Tieg!

    Well Wishes,

    Hi Teig,

I'm still working on growing my own business, but one thing I've been finding is that the people who already know your work can be a great place to start. I've been reaching out to past clients, asking for Google reviews, and checking in with people I've worked with before.

I wouldn't rush to lower your rates unless you're confident that's what's holding people back. It sounds like you've already built something successful once.

For a cleaning business, I wonder if direct outreach to apartment managers, property managers, realtors, and local businesses might be worth trying as well. Sometimes one good relationship can lead to a lot of repeat work.

Wishing you the best. It sounds like you've got a solid foundation to build from.
