For years I have relied on mostly flyers and word of mouth for my general interior/exterior paint contracting business, I'm starting another off-shoit company to specialize in cabinet painting, given the more specific nature of my targeting is there more efficient ways to advertise my services and grow my brand while being somewhat cost efficient?

If not already, I would first set up a Google Business Profile account and use keywords like "cabinet painting [your city]" in your description. People searching "cabinet painters near me" have a higher chance of finding your GBP before your website.
Another easy and cost effective strategy is post before and after content on your instagram, facebook, and local facebook groups. (Could even offer a "first job discount" to get your foot in the door. And add a referral incentive for those customers.
A few other ideas that come to mind are to offer your painting services as an add-on with your general interior/exterior services + partner with adjacent trades like kitchen renovators, realtors, and interior designers. Sending you the best of luck!
