Do you utilize battery-powered tools?
Handheld battery-powered tools have come a long way from their first iterations, especially over the past few years. I've started making the switch away from gas-powered equipment throughout the last few seasons for my business and have found the switch to be positive for my workflow and bottom line. This is a trend I believe will continue as batteries become more powerful and long-lasting. Are you utilizing any battery-powered equipment and, if so, do you have any favorites you'd like to share??500Views3likes8CommentsAuto Detailers: Favorite Tools
Let's chat about your favorite tools or products as a detailer and why. I'll go first. Scrub Ninja / Scrub Pad: I love these for cleaning textured surfaces in interiors. It covers a lot of area and cleans out the textured areas quickly. I use them on leather seats a lot and love using them to clean out the messes that get caught in speaker grills. Rinsless Wash: I'm currently using McKee's N914 in my unite but most Rinsless wash products are great. We use it to clean most interiors because it's effective and safe on all materials inside vehicles and the dilution ratio's are crazy good. I also use it to was the exterior of vehicles. It's just a super safe and versatile product.118Views0likes1CommentAuto Detailers Operations
Hey fellow detailers, What are some systems you have implemented in your business and what is either working well or not so well with them? Personally I am basically still solo. So, I rely heavily on Jobber to support my operations and try to run as much as I possibly can through Jobber. One system that has been good for me and my business is the Reviews feature. I've been in business now for 26 months and have 168 5-star reviews now. I was using NiceJob for the same thing before Jobber launched it's tool.92Views0likes0CommentsSales Marketing

My name is Shawn Sarbacker, and I’m the owner and driver at Aqualine Performance LLC, based in Nevada. We specialize in both commercial and residential detailing services and operate an expanding motorsports division that competes in professional Formula Continental events. What started as a one-man detailing business in 2023 has now grown into a multifaceted company built on precision, passion, and a strong foundation of values rooted in Colossians 3:23—doing everything with excellence and integrity. We’ve secured several local contracts for detailing and are steadily building a loyal client base. At the same time, our racing division has become a powerful marketing tool for our brand and we’re now actively pursuing paid sponsorship partners to take our exposure and performance to the next level. I’m reaching out to the Jobber community to ask: What are your strategies or advice for securing sponsorships? Especially those that are looking for visibility in motorsports or alignment with a premium brand in the automotive care space. Additionally, I’d love to hear any insights on how to use a growing platform like motorsports to attract new high-value commercial clients—fleet accounts, dealership groups, or corporate clients. I’m happy to share our approach with anyone interested and look forward to learning from your experiences too. Thanks in advance for any wisdom you’re willing to share! Warm regards, Shawn Sarbacker Aqualine Performance LLC Owner & Driver7Views1like0Comments
