Weather Widget 🌞🌧️❄️🔥
Is it possible to integrate Jobber with a weather app? On the dashboard, we were thinking a 7-day forecast could be visible. Also, I thought a small temperature reading on the monthly calendar would be visible. We also thought the weather for the day could be captured and saved as an internal note for the job.Solved316Views5likes9CommentsSection for Vendors or Subs
Please help develop a functions to add 3rd party vendors/subs that may be used as needed or 1-time. The primary point would be contact and database of vendors with info and docs needed for our team to access if needed as well as would be nice for them to have scheduling, invoicing with pics and job tracking capabilities.40Views1like1CommentQuestion About Jobber Request Form Confirmation Behavior and Mobile PDF Attachments
We’re trying to determine whether other Jobber users are experiencing similar behavior with request forms and estimate attachments. We’ve noticed that after a customer submits our request form, the page appears to load near the footer instead of clearly displaying the confirmation message near the top of the page. Over time, we’ve had multiple customers contact us asking whether their submission went through because they were unsure if the form had successfully submitted. We also noticed that the “custom confirmation page” option appears in settings, but we haven’t been able to get it functioning properly on our end. Separately, we’re experiencing an issue on iPhone and iPad where PDF attachments (specifically our Terms & Conditions PDF) fail to upload when attaching documents to estimates through the mobile app, even though this previously worked for us. Has anyone else experienced either of these behaviors or found a workaround? I’ve attached screenshots showing the post-submission page positioning issue for reference. What customers see after redirect. If they scroll up they can see the confirmation message, but they have to know to do this. Attachment screen error as displayed on all mobile devices.21Views0likes0CommentsHas anyone used the online booking forms successfully with custom confirmation pages?
We’re trying to better understand how other users are handling request form confirmations. Has anyone successfully used the “custom confirmation page” option with online booking/request forms? Specifically: Are you able to redirect customers to a separate thank-you or instruction page after form submission? Does the redirect work consistently on desktop and mobile? If not, what workflow are you using instead? We’re trying to improve customer clarity after submission and would appreciate hearing how others have configured this successfully. Thanks in advance.10Views0likes0CommentsSuggestions for Jobber
Below is some suggestions I have for Jobber to improve use. This is reviewing the two past years of my company and the complications they have using it. Anymore? Keep it going! Create a filter in clients to separate residential and commercial. Display icon in clients for residential and commercial. Prompt you if a duplicate client is being created. Identical names especially for companies shouldn't be allowed. Option to turn off archived search results when using the search bar. Create a collect payment button for invoices instead of having to click edit invoice to collect payment. Under save invoice options add selection save invoice and mark as sent. Create an edit mode for products and services and for visits. You would click the button allowing you to change the text in the columns and toggle taxable or non taxable. when edit mode is turned off it will save any changes. You can also do a select box so you can deactivate or delete multiple at a time. For visits, dates should be an option in the edit mode. Length of visits should be an option in one off or recurring. Shouldn't just default to all day. Quotes have a bulk archive, this should be added to jobs and requests and for the quotes there should be options such as bulk archive, bulk approve. When converting quotes to a job there should be selection boxes to select which line items you want to convert. And once line items are converted and someone tries to do it again maybe a popup saying this has already been converted to job #______ are you sure you want to proceed? In Manage teams, allow you to create a password for your technician. Sometimes techs are in the field having issues and don't have time to verify and change a password. Administrators should have this option.215Views3likes3CommentsHow to set up automated yearly service reminders in Jobber?
I know I’ve seen this come up before but as a service based industry, I rely heavily on repeat customers. I’d like to remind a customer about 11 months after they book with us that their service is coming up. The work around is that I can set them up as a recurring customer and have it remind them that their schedule is coming up a month before the scheduled date. My issue with that is one, I have to wait for paperwork for the customer, and two, I don’t like to have to stay on top of seeing if customers actually still want the service. I want reminders sent via email and txt automatically after 11 months (Not a year) and then they can reach back out to us when they get paperwork in for scheduling. There’s got to be a way for Jobber to do this and I can’t seem to figure that out.300Views1like6CommentsSome Much Needed Fixes in Jobber
Jobber just updated Booking Forms so that customers can now book directly to the schedule like how Online Booking and the AI Receptionist does it. This a great update and gives real purpose to the booking forms. BUT... there's a couple things.. Customers can only book Business Day(s) Away. Weekends are not possible. I literally watched my AI Text Receptionist argue with a customer saying Sunday is not possible when it very much is. Most businesses on Jobber are service companies and also need a dropdown to change Days Away to Hours Away. If our schedule is wide open: A - We're missing out on jobs B - Customers are going to find someone else that's faster. I created a Automatic Approval and Auto Payment Form. The most reasonable way to do this was by making a custom booking form. It's fine. It works. But an optional signature box like how there is on Job Forms would be extremely useful. Other issue: My last employer was a Plumbing, Heating & Electric business that used Service Titan. There were hundreds of line items. Service Titan allows a manager to create folders for the line items. There was one for Plumbing, Heating, etc. It kept things very organized. Pulling this off in Jobber without folders or any means of organization would be a nightmare. Searching is not reliable enough as nearly everything in the trades has multiple names. For example: the thing you connect your garden hose to can be a hose bib, spigot, sill **bleep**, hose connection, etc.112Views0likes1CommentJob Templates for repeat work
There should be an ability to create job templates for repeat types of work. Many business have some core services they offer and having to type out the titles every time and set the number of hours every time and then having to add the line items each time is a real hassle. There should be an ability to create a template where the title can be autogenerated by certain fields or criteria and times for those jobs can be preset with the default line items loaded. Then you would only need to select a client and property. Having templates like this would take a lot of the time consuming administrative burden off.215Views0likes3Comments
