If you are pricing them as a prepaid package based on lot sizes you can set the job up as recurring with the duration set to the length of your season and frequency set to the number of weeks you would like the applications spaced. Set the billing to "as needed" and create and send the invoice pre-season or when the job is booked.
If you plan to charge per application you can set the job up as recurring with the duration the length of your season and frequency to the number of weeks you want between each application. Billing would be set to invoice "per visit" "after each visit is completed"
It is important to have cut offs for each application. I like to set this with an event called "Application # cut off"
If they are pre-paid I send an invoice for the number of applications the customer will receive. If it is per application I will set the duration to the amount of time left in the season and the frequency for how often you want to go. Jobber will calculate the number of visits, if that is the amount of applications you have time for, you don't need to worry about losing track of the number of visits.
If you pre-schedule your visits, it is really important to "update future visits" on the job if you are falling behind on the schedule or dealing with weather delays. Pushing out one of the applications won't automatically adjust upcoming visits unless you choose to update them.
Thank you Janine! This was super helpful!!!
