  • I would love to connect! We are located in Western Pennsylvania (North of Pittsburgh). Family owned & operated, 5 employees now. We do a mix of residential and commercial though the majority of our revenue comes from a few larger commercial clients. We don't make a ton off of them since we pay our cleaners twice as much as the bigger janitorial folks so our margins are thin on janitorial-leaning work but it gives everyone consistent hours and keeps the lights on.

  • Hey Jessie- if you can take on some extra appointments this month let me know. I have a lot of direct call leads in that area. I can see what they cost per call if you want. Feel free to touch base

  • Hello! I hope I am not too late! My partner and I started a cleaning business this year and are having a hard time with certain things and we have no one to talk to or to brainstorm with! We are women-owned and minority owned, and service the Naperville, IL area.

  • Hi Jessie Clean, first off I want to thank you for starting this thread I was about to do the same before I came across this, so thank you again. :)

My wife and I are very new with only having registered our business in October of this year. I know it is early days yet. We are a residential cleaning service proudly owned by women and members of the LGBTQ+ community, including myself, a transgender woman. We decided to start this venture when my full time job became unbearable with the workload verses the compensation personally I feel they were purposely overloading me with more more responsibilities in hopes of driving me out but enough about that, we wanted more control over our lives and more freedom. My wife works for a cleaning outfit currently and has picked up 2 clients of her own, the plan is to build off of that. I have worked on  the getting our name out there since day one, built the website, tried to do as much SOE-ing to it as possible and all the advertising online I could do, as well as driving round neighborhoods and writing down address to mail flyers out, no matter what I have tried I am getting nothing but telemarketers calling wanting more of our money which isn't a lot at this point.

My real concern is am I doing the right things I listed on Yelp and google business profile, Google console, Google analytics, ran a couple of campaigns with Google ads and Yelp all with no results other than my money being depleted. Currently I receive close to 30 calls a day none of which are potential clients and all of which wants me to spend how do I get out of this trap and start gaining clients
