Iโ€™ll be sharing a few questions throughout the week that were asked in our Jobber Blueprint: Live event ๐Ÿ˜Ž

How customizable are Jobber AI features

How much work does it take to customize AI for your business?

      Hey Julie! Great questions.

We are constantly working to add more abilities for service pros to tailor AI features within Jobber to perform the way that suits them best.

Right now we are working on ways to allow customization to Jobber AI Receptionist to allow service providers to indicate tone of voice, and have more methods for how to train Jobber AI Receptionist on how to handle calls and inquiries.

In general, the more feedback you provide to AI tools about the responses they generate, the faster it will improve and understand your preferences! But it's tough to provide a direct answer on how long it would take to customize AI for a business - that depends on just how custom you need to be.

Hey Bob! Here is our second question from one of our webinar attendees:

How will Jobber AI Receptionist handle complex or emotionally sensitive customer interactions?

It's great that people are thinking about this.

You will have control over how Jobber AI Receptionist interacts with your customers.

You can direct it to answer questions in a certain way, or recommend certain actions, based on the information provided by the customer in the call. You'll also have access to logs of text and phone conversations between AI Receptionist and your customers, so you can make sure things are being handled to your standards and make tweaks as needed.

I'm looking forward to the next question!

  • Hey Bob, what is an AI tool most of us aren't aware of but we should be looking into as a 1-2 person service business?

I do all of my business functions and have part time tech with me. I leverage Jobber to help keep things aligned and flowing without loosing my mind. I tend to use Google Gemini to help work though concepts or ad copy or even SOPs quickly. I've seen a marketing friend use some AI tool that he trained on one of his clients, how he writes, what the mission of an ad campaign is, etc. and could use it in ways to create emails and even more. I don't feel like Chat GPT or Gemini get that nuanced.

      Hey sandiashineco,

Just to call this out, since youโ€™re already using ChatGPT, is their recent release of Canvas. Itโ€™s a tool that allows you to collaborate with ChatGPT to build a document/content together. You can provide it guidance on why youโ€™re drafting it, underlying details that it should consider, and then things like length & tone. If you find that the back-and-forth of the chat interface isnโ€™t really helpful for drafting content this is the tool for you.
