Data Importing
Will Jobber ever support importing data from older CRMs, like ServiceCEO, so we can transfer over the data we’ve collected for the past ten years and have all our information in one system? This would help streamline our operations and make it easier to transition without losing important historical data. It's hard to have data in multiple places and not have data on hand when needed makes minor tasks extremely time consuming and tedious? Please say yes 🙌

I've found a few Jobber support docs that can help with this:
Hope this helps!

Correction I apologize I mean importing job history and data such as old estimates and invoices to look back into. I had to do the import the way shown in the link you attached but leaves out crucial info for companies coming over from other crms

This would be nice!

When the data is complicated and unique per business it's difficult to import when im not an expert lol. I can't transfer over any prior work history prior estimates or crucial info from ten years of business from a crm that shut down, serviceceo.
So not only am I paying jobber membership, I also have Housecall Pro as a library and it defeats the purpose and I'm spending more money for no reason. For the membership price and from what I was initially told with jobber this shouldn't be the case. It's frustrating and disappointing with almost 9000 contacts n a ton of data.
However, I really appreciate you replying and going out of your way to try to help another business out.Means a lot!!! Thank you!!!

While importing in bulk is very helpful, I would love to see the option to bulk archive clients.
When I connected my Quickbooks account, it imported way more contacts that turned into Leads. I need to clean up Quickbooks (another issue) but bulk editing would be very nice to have. - ATCContributor 3
This can be do e by exporting the list to a spreadsheet and uploading back to jobber after changes are made. I am also looking for a workaround in order to remove old clients from "active" status so we can us campaigns to effectively target clients. Unfortunately we have 13500 clients to sift through and archive if required https://help.getjobber.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043616593-Client-Archiving

Hey NJHMS, totally get where you're coming from. Importing from something like ServiceCEO can be a real challenge, especially when there's so much history tied up in those records.
Jobber does a solid job with the basics, but when it comes to more complex historical data like estimates, job notes, payments, etc., we've seen a lot of teams hit similar roadblocks. We’ve helped businesses bring that kind of data into CRMs like Jobber even when it’s coming from older systems or backups by building out a custom import process that keeps everything organized and tied to the right jobs and clients.
We specialize in helping teams migrate their full history into Jobber including photos, documents, notes, and pretty much whatever data you’re trying to bring over cleanly and with as little disruption as possible.
If this is something you’re exploring, feel free to DM me here or check out how we help with CRM data migrations.
