Kits/Pricing Templates 2 part question

This is a two-part question:

 

  1. Are there plans to introduce kits or templates for quickly creating detailed, itemized estimates? For repeat services, it can be time-consuming to manually add multiple items on the mobile app. A template feature would allow us to add common services with one click and adjust quantities, saving time and enhancing accuracy during the first conversation with the client.
  2. Will there ever be an option where a picture of the customer’s home automatically populates once the address is input, similar to apps like Housecall Pro? This feature would provide a quick visual reference of the property, allowing for quicker and more accurate service quotes (e.g., gutter cleaning). It would also help create a great first impression by allowing us to describe the home in detail during the initial phone conversation with the customer.
  • I don’t know about with Estimates, but i thought they said on the Jobber Now Live, that there was new Quoting features. I made it so that I can use it now. I would love to be able to have a saved template for that! I think they said we might be able to.

    Would your vision be different to adding your own products & services with a default description? That's what I do now, it's as easy as selecting from a dropdown list. Myself and others also use that for adding service schedules, T&C's etc. to quotes. 

    Tho I don't use the mobile app for that, always desktop/web version when setting up new jobs, sending quotes etc...

      How do you go about doing that? I'm looking to do it on the go this way by the time I'm leaving customers home I know the estimate is sent and customer has and not delaying it.   And feel like it would just speed up our workflow in general. 

      gutter installs it's 

      linear feet of gutter, end caps, mitres, downspouts, goosenecks, fascia if needed etc etc.  so having the form already there just to fill in would be exceptionally beneficial for us.  But look forward to seeing what you do on desktop.  I'm sure it would help.  Thank you for your help.

        You can edit your Products & Services in Settings. From there just create your description and add unit pricing if you want, easy if you work in linear feet. That will be available from the dropdown list every time you create a quote. That is all doable on the mobile app as well, my workflow just doesn't flow that way at the moment. 

        You can also create a new product called "Terms and Conditions" for example, add whatever text you want and leave the price blank. That's what I do to specify our lawn service schedule.

  • I like the idea to populate a street view of the home. While this won’t be available for all homes, I can see it being super helpful.  I pull a large trailer so I am always referencing Google Maps to try to get an idea on how I will service the property and or if I need to back down a driveway. 

    In my business, I don’t see a kit being beneficial but I can agree that this may be very helpful to other service based companies.
