Funding for a business with less than $100 k in revenue
I have been in the US for 4 years now and my business is 2 and a half years old. I pour everything I had in it and my wife is taking care of all our living expenses. We have a road map and a plan that seems to be working but I can't get out of that loop without funding to implement what we know works. Does anyone have any advice on how to get at least 15k to help us go to the next level?
Invoice update via API
Jobber does not allow invoices to be updated and closed/marked as paid from externally. We use Xero as our main accounting system as it hooks into or bank. Every time we mark an invoice as paid in Xero, we need to manually close the corresponding invoice in Jobber. I have raised this multiple times with Jobber but it is not on their roadmap. Hoping there are more people out there with the same requirement to help boost this post so that Jobber can do something about it. Unless someone has found another way to do it. This will save at 30+ hours a month of man hour to change every invoice.Price Transparency
None of the locals have any pricing on their websites. As a customer I hate searching for general pricing. I'm considering posting my trip fee and pricing for some of the more common tasks a handyman would do. Tough to do for more custom jobs or problematic installs, but it seems that letting a customer know up front that replacing a basic ceiling fan is $99 labor may save them, and me, some time. Hey Jobbers: I'm in the 7th month of business and things are going quite well, but I've been thinking of trying to get my purchases to work of me. Often times credit cards will give perks for cash back or rewards points depending on the purchases that one makes. In our line of work, purchases are pretty out of the norm to other business on a day-to-day basis. I've been doing some research of different programs, but the ranked lists seem to be sponsored by banks, like usual. Hard to trust biased articles.
