Phone integration
I love that jobber has it's own phone number I just wish we had the ability to integrate with a business VOIP system so we can call clients from the Jobber app and it calls from our ringcentral business number instead of our cell phone numbers. Right now we have to type it directly into our ringcentral app which can be annoying trying to remember the number or switching between apps to get the number. I do not want customers having everyone's cell phone number. It would be amazing to click on the customers phone number and it asks which app or automatically uses the intergrated voip app.6Views0likes1CommentHow to manage and optimize leads before they become paying customers?
I am looking to optimize leads, plan routes for the sales departments and optimize so staff is not zigzagging all over town. These are not visits as no jobs are created yet, these are leads. I want staff to hand out flyers, business cards, etc. Is there a way to manage and optimize routes from the client list, specifically for clients who have not converted from a lead to an actual yet? How are others managing this? My prospects are typically other businesses as we are a B2B operation.Business Phone Number - Who's Should You Use and How Should You Use it?
When it comes to phone numbers, I treat the Jobber phone number as an “automation line,” not my primary business number. I use it for all the built-in Jobber automations—invoice/receipt texts, appointment reminders, “on my way” notifications, and anything else Jobber sends out automatically. It’s great for consistent system messaging and keeping those operational texts separate from my real day-to-day communication. The reason I don’t use the Jobber number as my main public-facing number (website, trucks, yard signs, etc.) is ownership and portability. The Jobber number can’t be ported out, so if you ever switch systems or change your setup, you don’t truly “own” that number long-term. I’ve made the mistake of putting a non-portable number on marketing before, and it’s a headache when you realize it can’t follow you. Instead, I recommend your primary business number be something you control and can port—either from a carrier, Google Voice (depending on your needs), or another platform where portability is confirmed. Then use tools like Chiirp (and I haven’t personally explored GoHighLevel/Hatch deeply, but they’re in the same category) for your primary communication + higher-level automation, because those platforms typically offer much more robust automation like out-of-office replies, drip campaigns, and automated texting workflows. So my personal setup philosophy is: Jobber number = system/operations messaging only; your “real” business number = portable, owned by you, and used everywhere customer-facing. Then if you need advanced automations like out-of-office replies, I’d build those in a dedicated communication/marketing platform that’s designed for it—not inside the Jobber number.212Views8likes14CommentsWorkaround: click-to-call from ANY phone field in Jobber (works with Quo, OpenPhone)
Hey everyone — ran into a frustrating issue after switching to Quo: not all phone number fields in Jobber are wrapped in a clickable tel: link. Clicking them does nothing, even when you have a desktop phone app set as your Windows default dialer. This is a Jobber limitation — only some fields output a proper tel: link. The good news is there's a dead-simple browser bookmarklet workaround. No extensions, no installs, nothing running in the background slowing Jobber down. And it works with any VoIP desktop app, not just Quo. Step 1 — Set your phone app as the default tel: handler on Windows This tells Windows which app to open when a phone link is clicked. Do this once and you're set. Start menu → search Default Apps Scroll down → Choose default apps by protocol Find TEL in the list → click it → select your phone app (Quo, RingCentral, etc.) Restart Chrome after saving Step 2 — Add the bookmarklet to Chrome Right-click your Chrome bookmarks bar → Add page → name it 📞 Click to Call → paste this exactly into the URL field: javascript:void(window.open('tel:'+window.getSelection().toString().replace(/[^0-9+]/g,''))) Click Save. It will now appear in your bookmarks bar. Step 3 — Use it in Jobber Highlight any phone number in Jobber with your mouse Click the 📞 Click to Call bookmark in your toolbar Your phone app opens and dials automatically The bookmarklet automatically strips out spaces, dashes, and parentheses so the number always formats correctly. Works on any phone number in Jobber — client profiles, requests, quotes, anywhere on the page. I did try a few Chrome extensions that auto-scan pages and convert all numbers to links, but they noticeably slowed Jobber down. This bookmarklet runs only when you click it, so zero performance impact. The only requirement is that your phone app has a Windows desktop client installed and is set as the tel: default in Step 1. Most major VoIP services support this. Would love to see Jobber eventually add proper tel: links across all phone fields natively — but until then this does the trick. Let me know which phone service you're using and if it works for you!Go High Level Vs Chiirp
Hey Guys! Anyone have an opinion on these two programs vs each other? I feel like chiirp is kind of over priced and hard to use. I've been hearing good things about High level. Anyone have an opinion on it? Or even better, has anyone used both and have an opinion on the matter?59Views1like2CommentsHave you used OneStepGPS in Jobber?
Just got a demo of OneStepGPS. I'm looking for a fleet tracking system and integrating with Jobber sounds great. BUT They couldn't run a demo of it in Jobber, didn't have screenshots, really couldn't tell me anything about how it integrates beyond "you'll see everything in Jobber" Anybody have this, can you share how it works, maybe some screen shots? @JobberDevelopers One of the other programs I looked at is on the ball and wants to integrate with Jobber. Get your team talking to Fleet Complete!79Views0likes1CommentJobber Roadmap
I didn't find a topic that I thought fit to post this so I figured I would try here since I want some Insight. I came here from Housecall Pro. One of the things they had that I loved as a published website roadmap. That way we could see what type of items the Devs had planned and were working on. Not everything had a timeline on release but it at least let us know the devs heard us and would eventually implement it. That helped us know to stop asking for the same features over and over again. It also showed what had already been pushed out. So if you missed the publishing, you could still see the updates and feature releases there. They also had a form for you to submit ideas and then people could upvote it. That let others know if we were having the same problem to collaborate on work arounds and solutions while also letting the developers know what items were most wanted by the most people. We would have the ability to do most of that here easily with a simple Topic of "Feature Requests". I'm sure I'm preaching to the Choir here when I say we are too busy to call the success line every time we wish Jobber had a feature.Solved84Views0likes2CommentsThoughts with OpenPhone?
Hi! We currently using Ooma as our soft phone as it's integrated with Jobber. Unfortunately, only almost 2 months in and we're experiencing a lot of issues including missing voicemail and poor syncing of call logs. We recently notified about new softphone VOIP integration with Open Phone. Does anyone already using it? What's your experience so far? Your response is much appreciated!88Views4likes1CommentGift Card Workflow/Integration
Hey all, I want to offer Christmas Gift cards to my client list. Last minute? Yup! But there's a long cold season where we won't be doing much work staring at us. Anybody have a good system for offering/tracking gift cards within Jobber or with a solid integration? Best, Darren108Views1like4Comments
