Where Can I Find Training Videos to Help Field Crews Learn Jobber's AI Voice Notes Feature?
So I am down here in Washington State we are a Electrical contracting company. I watched the Seminar yesterday morning. And was very excited. About some of the stuff that I could already do. And some of the stuff. That will be rolling out. I was showing some of my guys. The AI button so that they could add. Notes to the jobs. But we were having trouble with the function working. Is there a video on Youtube or something that we could watch? That would help us learn how to use it better. I am trying to use this program. For all of its benefits. So I really want to learn how to use. As much of it as I can. Also, the app on the phones is a little hard to use, especially for some of my guys who are not very tech savvy. And we are just now getting in. To the tech world. Is there somewhere I can go or have the guys go? Where they can watch videos to help them learn how to use it.
Force Receipt to email to same email as invoice
We have several clients with multiple contact email addresses. Jobber is emailing paid invoice receipts to whichever email is 'starred' in the communication email list. Does anyone know of a way to force the paid invoice receipt to go directly to the same email that was chosen for an emailed invoice to be paid?
What tools are anyone using for team communication?
The internal communication in Jobber is not robust enough for multiple team members, especially when we may be working on the same customer/job at different times. Features needed: - ability to mention/tag other team members so they are notified of the comment or message - keeps the communications "within Jobber" at least in knowing which customer the communication pertains to Is there a 3rd party tool/plug in that anyone has found useful for this need? Or even better, Jobber team, is there any plan to deploy this as part of a standard feature?
Some Much Needed Fixes in Jobber
Jobber just updated Booking Forms so that customers can now book directly to the schedule like how Online Booking and the AI Receptionist does it. This a great update and gives real purpose to the booking forms. BUT... there's a couple things.. Customers can only book Business Day(s) Away. Weekends are not possible. I literally watched my AI Text Receptionist argue with a customer saying Sunday is not possible when it very much is. Most businesses on Jobber are service companies and also need a dropdown to change Days Away to Hours Away. If our schedule is wide open: A - We're missing out on jobs B - Customers are going to find someone else that's faster. I created a Automatic Approval and Auto Payment Form. The most reasonable way to do this was by making a custom booking form. It's fine. It works. But an optional signature box like how there is on Job Forms would be extremely useful. Other issue: My last employer was a Plumbing, Heating & Electric business that used Service Titan. There were hundreds of line items. Service Titan allows a manager to create folders for the line items. There was one for Plumbing, Heating, etc. It kept things very organized. Pulling this off in Jobber without folders or any means of organization would be a nightmare. Searching is not reliable enough as nearly everything in the trades has multiple names. For example: the thing you connect your garden hose to can be a hose bib, spigot, sill **bleep**, hose connection, etc.
