ChatGPT with Jobber
Anyone doing anything cool with this ? I'm thinking it could be used for estimating... any other neat things people are doing. Right now all I'm doing is putting some invoices from the wholesaler in chatgpt and asking it to remove the pricing and put it in a point form list for me which it's doing great. I'll also take the notes from the guys in the field and get chat gpt to make it into a nice professional point form list as well. One other thing I've done is take a CSV file report from jobber and put it into chatgpt and get it to analyze the data. Hey Jobber Team and Fellow Pros, Let’s talk about a feature that could seriously boost close rates and make Jobber even more competitive for all of us who quote services, manage inventory, and work in price-sensitive markets. What we need: Tiered Pricing on Products and Services — customizable pricing where the unit cost automatically adjusts based on quantity ordered. Why this matters: We already price materials like mulch, sod, and stone this way in real life. It would speed up quoting, improve estimate accuracy, and help us win more jobs. It mirrors how customers expect to see pricing — more they buy, less they pay per unit. How it would work: Let users define pricing tiers for any product/service: 1–10 units = $10/unit 11–50 units = $8/unit 51+ units = $6/unit These price breaks should auto-calculate during estimate creation and carry through to invoicing. Why Jobber Should Care: Makes Jobber more competitive vs. other platforms offering advanced pricing features. Helps your users convert more jobs = more usage and more loyalty to Jobber. Reflects real-world pricing logic we already use outside the app. If you'd use this — drop a comment or like to help get this in front of Jobber’s dev team. Let’s get this done together!362Views7likes8CommentsJobber Failing to update features
I have contacted Jobber on multiple occasions. We mow seasonally. We need an option to turn the routes off during the winter. Currently we have to go through each customer at the beginning of the Spring season to move the start date, in order to clear the "late visits" The other thing they need to do like Service Auto Pilot, is allow you to skip a week. If it is during acrought and some yards do not need mowed and get skipped, we need to be able to hit skip. The customer should not be charge and it would pick up on the schedule to following week. I have also contacted them about mows from many months earlier that have already been paid, randomly appearing on numberous customer's invoices.386Views7likes11CommentsManaging Fill in Jobs
Hi Community! One challenge we face is keeping track of fill in jobs or jobs that need a follow up visit but dont know exactly when it will happen. Having one central location or a way to keep track of all of these for easy reference would be key. We try to use the job status' as much as possible but turns out this does not always work. The work around we have done is creating a new customer named "Fill In" then created a new job titled "Fill In Jobs List". Now techs or **bleep** can add a new line item with scope of work, estimated duration and job number. Each new line item represents a separate fill in job. This puts all our fill ins in one location and we can reference it then direct to the job number in Jobber for scheduling. This works but don't feel its scalable. Curious what others have been doing for this! Thanks, Carson6KViews1like5CommentsHas sending photos after a job ever saved you from a complaint?

Hello! How are you entering and keeping track of service contracts? We sell, install and service generators and want to make sure we are properly tracking these and ensuring renewals don't slip through the cracks. Some are once a year visit, some need 2 visits, some need 4. How do you guys do this? What about jobs that require multiple visits? Our installs take time from the moment we get the project approved, to then getting the permit approved, and the individual days of work, inspections, etc. Looking for tips on this. Thanks!122Views1like2CommentsWhat kind of Notifications you setup
I want to start the discussion on what notifications you setup in Jobber? What notifications you would like to have in Jobber when compared with other CRMs' ? Would you like to setup notifications based on fields in the Job, Client etc example: - When a visit is completed and the job value is > x, then email the owner and the manager. - When a payment is created and amount > x, then email the accounts receivable and owner. - When a 'Request' is created with emergency keywords like urgent, 'no heat', flooding, then email to manager, dispatcher. - When a high value job is deleted, notify the owner. DM me if you are looking for some such notifications that can ease you daily and repetitive routines Aswath aswath.satrasala@gmail.com188Views1like5CommentsCan I bypass "Job, converting etc"?
I am very unique. I am a travelling Instructor. I require payment beforehand. The real "Job" occurs when we all meet in the classroom and it ends after the last day, but I have to run thru the whole Job sequential order and it really messes things up, like reminders when not needed and such.56Views1like3Comments
