Editing a job from the schedule section?
Maybe I am missing a button somewhere but... Is there a way to edit a job (add a product or service, change unit prices) from the schedule menu? A client calls before I am at the job and wants to add a certain service to the job booking, so I click on the job from the schedule menu and all I can change is the quantity, service date/time or Job Title. Even when I click Edit or View Details I still can't change any of that information. Does anyone have a work around rather than having to click out of the schedule and go into the Jobs section?Did you know you can adjust the due date for an invoice?
Most of you may already know this, but I am here for those who don't! In the Jobber settings you can adjust the date that your invoice is due. Mine was set to NET 30 (30 Days) which is a really long time for a service. I adjusted it to NET 10 to give some time and not seem overly needed to my customers. What do other companies have their due date set at? Does anyone have their due date set to the same day? Has anyone set theirs longer?Getting paid for the job.
Hello all, I was standing in front of a customer today, having a great conversation with her and I was wondering, when do I ask for payment? I felt she was a trustworthy person and wouldn't try anything funny, and I didn't want to break the conversation with asking her to pay. I usually wait until my service is complete to ask for payment but I can see that causing an issue at least once in the future. Do you ask for payment upfront before you start your service or wait until the end? Do you go by feel of the customer?
🚗Fleet Sharp and Schedule (alpha) Split Screen
Hello, Our Fleet Sharp trackers do Not populate on the schedule (Alpha) split screen. We heard about Force Fleet at the spring feature announcement, and we have seen screenshots of Force Fleet trackers visible on the schedule split screen. We are wondering (hoping 🙏) if Jobber will update the split screen to show both Force Fleet AND Fleet Sharp trackers. We are wondering if anyone has heard or knows info regarding this topic. I am curious to hear which reports you consider most valuable in your business and what actions are taken based on those reports if anyone is willing to share. Are there reports that you use regularly in Jobber or reports that you wish were part of Jobber? If so how do you utilize the information that the reports provide? Are changes made based on the reports? Is the data used to create the reports monitored internally for consistency? Thanks for sharing all input is helpful!
