Can I create a job with photos for an employee to check off that a certain issue has been resolved?
This is a bit of a longer question but I am curious if this could be done... If I go a house and take photos of 12 issues that need to be resolved, can I create a checklist or job form that shows each of those issues as a list? Then add that list to a team members schedule and have them check off that it has been completed? Even attach a photo of the completed work below the photo of the issue? It would also be great to be able to send that completed list or form to the customer to sign off on and collect payment. I would like to position myself to do more of the sales and inspections, then send a team member to the house to do the actual work sealing the home or solving the issue. I have been working out a few ways in my head to make this structure work and I really hope Jobber can help me do that. Does anyone else work in this way? I constantly go into my Products and Services page and update wording, add services, and just basic review. This is so important to me because the whole base of my business is to be full-service to my clients. If I see an issue while doing my inspection, I either propose to do it for them or have a small network of other service pros I can call to solve the problem. That is why my list of products and services is so important. I can pop that into a proposal and quote it in seconds, then present it to the client after the inspection and tell them everything we can do for them. It has been working out really really well and I do owe a lot of it to Jobber having this feature at my finger tips. Some calls double in value simply because I am presenting them to a client right then and there. It does take some time off the road to review and make sure everything is looking professional and accurate, but when that turns into revenue on the road I feel validated spending some time reviewing these details. Presenting them a professional and itemized proposal for everything I can do to help them is so so so handy for me. Does anyone else work like this? When add-ons can really start to add up value to a call? I like that Jobber has the autofill feature when filling out an address for a new client. Yesterday though, I didn't double check I had the right city, and had to drive 90mins out of my way, there and back when, funny enough I was 12 mins away from one call to the next. Maybe I am missing a button somewhere but... Is there a way to edit a job (add a product or service, change unit prices) from the schedule menu? A client calls before I am at the job and wants to add a certain service to the job booking, so I click on the job from the schedule menu and all I can change is the quantity, service date/time or Job Title. Even when I click Edit or View Details I still can't change any of that information. Most of you may already know this, but I am here for those who don't! In the Jobber settings you can adjust the date that your invoice is due. Mine was set to NET 30 (30 Days) which is a really long time for a service. I adjusted it to NET 10 to give some time and not seem overly needed to my customers. Hello all, I was standing in front of a customer today, having a great conversation with her and I was wondering, when do I ask for payment? I felt she was a trustworthy person and wouldn't try anything funny, and I didn't want to break the conversation with asking her to pay. I usually wait until my service is complete to ask for payment but I can see that causing an issue at least once in the future. Even the bottom of the barrel CRM that I'm currently using has a robust kit function. Create products with fully editable costs and quantities, then add those products to a kit (in this case, what a "service" should be). Once a kit is entered into a quote, individual products are hidden from the customer, but fully editable when creating the quote. As it is now, I have no idea what the difference between a "product" and a "service" are. They both have the same info (name, description, cost, etc). You should just be able to group products to form services. If i have a product of "labor" and a product of "receptacle". I should then be able to create a service of "Replace Receptacle". That service would consist of my labor product, and my receptacle product. Both with quantities and costs that I could edit when creating a quote. Since not all receptacles are the same, and my customer doesnt care whether its a duplex or a decor, being able to edit the cost of that receptacle, straight from the kit during quote creation, would be amazing.Solved325Views3likes8Comments🚗Fleet Sharp and Schedule (alpha) Split Screen
Hello, Our Fleet Sharp trackers do Not populate on the schedule (Alpha) split screen. We heard about Force Fleet at the spring feature announcement, and we have seen screenshots of Force Fleet trackers visible on the schedule split screen. We are wondering (hoping 🙏) if Jobber will update the split screen to show both Force Fleet AND Fleet Sharp trackers. We are wondering if anyone has heard or knows info regarding this topic.
