Weather Widget ππ§οΈβοΈπ₯
Is it possible to integrate Jobber with a weather app? On the dashboard, we were thinking a 7-day forecast could be visible. Also, I thought a small temperature reading on the monthly calendar would be visible. We also thought the weather for the day could be captured and saved as an internal note for the job.Solved77Views3likes5CommentsPLEASE add a kit function
Even the bottom of the barrel CRM that I'm currently using has a robust kit function. Create products with fully editable costs and quantities, then add those products to a kit (in this case, what a "service" should be). Once a kit is entered into a quote, individual products are hidden from the customer, but fully editable when creating the quote. As it is now, I have no idea what the difference between a "product" and a "service" are. They both have the same info (name, description, cost, etc). You should just be able to group products to form services. If i have a product of "labor" and a product of "receptacle". I should then be able to create a service of "Replace Receptacle". That service would consist of my labor product, and my receptacle product. Both with quantities and costs that I could edit when creating a quote. Since not all receptacles are the same, and my customer doesnt care whether its a duplex or a decor, being able to edit the cost of that receptacle, straight from the kit during quote creation, would be amazing.Solved60Views2likes8CommentsSuggestion: Quotes / Invoices Sub Items for Main Line Item
Hello Jobber Team, π οΈ Why We Use Sub-Items in Our Quotes & Invoices When it comes to handyman and construction work, no two jobs are exactly alike β and we believe your quote should reflect that. Thatβs why we organize our quotes and invoices with main line items and sub-items, and hereβs why that matters: β Customizable Work Scopes Sometimes a project includes optional jobs based on your preferences or budget. For example, your quote might include: β’ Job 1: Deck Repair ββ- Materials ββ- Labor β’ Job 2 (Optional): Flooring Install ββ- Materials ββ- Debris Disposal Fee ββ- Labor You can easily see what's included and choose what fits your needs. β Transparency You Can Trust No vague charges or confusing totals. Every part of the job is broken down so you can see exactly what you're getting β from screws and wood planks to disposal and labor. β Smoother Approvals & Communication Want to move forward with just one section of the job for now? No problem. Sub-items make it easy to discuss, approve, or remove parts without reworking the entire quote. β Budget-Friendly Flexibility This system lets us work with you on cost β you can prioritize essential work and schedule optional items for later, all while keeping track of the big picture. At the end of the day, we want your estimate to be as clear, flexible, and tailored as the work we provide. π§°π25Views0likes1CommentπFleet Sharp and Schedule (alpha) Split Screen
Hello, Our Fleet Sharp trackers do Not populate on the schedule (Alpha) split screen. We heard about Force Fleet at the spring feature announcement, and we have seen screenshots of Force Fleet trackers visible on the schedule split screen. We are wondering (hoping π) if Jobber will update the split screen to show both Force Fleet AND Fleet Sharp trackers. We are wondering if anyone has heard or knows info regarding this topic. I love the Campaigns feature. I build a newsletter with it every month and I only sent it to clients to haven't booked with us for over 4 years at first, then each month I drop the months since serviced section down to raise the number of past clients reached. I do this so I don't overwhelm the phone lines, and eventually I will just have all the clients get it each month. I also tag my unsubscribe clients so they will never get a newsletter in the future, since right now each month is a one off campaign. I can adjust the filters to keep them out of the loop. I wish there was a way to add a gif file though. I add Before and After pics that I edit together on Canva, which is doing the trick for now to get the point across. One more tip that I've been playing with for my newsletters is using Dall.e on Chat GPT to create a header image that will be specific to our industry. I'd love to hear any other tips and tricks!245Views10likes10CommentsOnline Booking and Communications Challenges
Hey Everyone, We have some support questions we are hoping to get answers to and thought we would post it on here to see if any other users have found solutions to these challenges or are having the same challenges? Is there a way to edit the "On my way messageβ? We would like to customize the message and edit it to not provide our employees personal phone numbers but rather list our two way messaging number. We have the jobber Grow package, and are promoting our clients to utilize the two way messaging number for communications, so all of our team gets their message and can reply quickly. However we're concerned that if we ever move away from jobbers platform, we would lose this number and would therefore have missed communications. Is this a concern for others using this feature? We have been trying to implement the online booking feature on our website. However we are finding it is challenging that we cannot select what employees are available for certain services. Our exterior services guys are not able to do interior cleaning, and vice versa. We are wondering if there is a way to work around this or if Jobber has anything in the works? We have also found that the booking times for services is too limiting. We offer window cleaning and charge by the window pane, it takes 7 minutes to do an interior window pane and frame, but the lowest bookable time option is 15 min. This is resulting in a job being booked for twice as long as it will actually take, or showing that we do not have an available booking window and therefore losing out on the booking. Also, for services that take longer than 60 minutes, the next option is 90 minutes, thatβs a big jump. Does Jobber have the ability to make services be set up by single minute units rather than 15 min and 30 min slots? Thanks for any input and insights!Solved58Views2likes2CommentsHow do you utilize reports in your business?
I am curious to hear which reports you consider most valuable in your business and what actions are taken based on those reports if anyone is willing to share. Are there reports that you use regularly in Jobber or reports that you wish were part of Jobber? If so how do you utilize the information that the reports provide? Are changes made based on the reports? Is the data used to create the reports monitored internally for consistency? Thanks for sharing all input is helpful!411Views5likes15Comments
