Best Jobber Automations
I just wanted to get a post going for these. They can be super powerful in your business and I feel like they don't get talked about enough sometimes. What are your best Jobber automations you have set up?? I really enjoy dashboards myself that give more custom information about my business. I like to use Airtable / Asana / Zapier. Cheers !
Spreadsheets
I am the VP of Operations for a high-volume surveying company in Texas. We started using Jobber about 10 ago years when we really started to grow and needed a place to schedule and store all of our data. Over the last couple years, we have started experiencing issues with keeping track of deadlines. We have multiple different spreadsheets via google docs where we track timelines. We will use jobber to create a task and once the surveying task is completed, we then create a new task under the same job for a survey drawing to be completed. However, jobber is not great about being able to sort via due dates, so we end up adding this information to different spreadsheets. Those spreadsheets then get additional specific information added to them. I have 5 full time admins now and need to simplify this process so we can be more productive and eliminate the user errors. We do about 3,000 jobs a year through Jobber and then there will be at least 4-6 different tasks created for each job. Does anyone else push this much through jobber each year and if so how do you track your jobs deadlines. I know there are add-on apps that can help with this, so do yall use any of those apps. Sorry if this is a repeat post. I did some searching on here and didn’t find what I’m asking. I keep hearing about virtual assistants used for service pros. I’m a 1 man show right now trying to delete and automate as much as possible to leave room for growth and expansion. I heard virtual assistants can help with a number of task. Does anyone have a company they refer or use? What has been the feed back?How has that helped utilizing a VA and Jobber together? Thank you !
KPI Dashboard
Does Jobber have anything in the works to show a KPI dashboard of short? Something that we can easily look at to see certain metrics important in our business. Some of these could include set goals such as booked jobs for the week, month. Some others could be close rates, total sales, etc. If not, what would be a good integration alternative?ChatGPT with Jobber
Anyone doing anything cool with this ? I'm thinking it could be used for estimating... any other neat things people are doing. Right now all I'm doing is putting some invoices from the wholesaler in chatgpt and asking it to remove the pricing and put it in a point form list for me which it's doing great. I'll also take the notes from the guys in the field and get chat gpt to make it into a nice professional point form list as well. One other thing I've done is take a CSV file report from jobber and put it into chatgpt and get it to analyze the data. Thanks !Jobber AI Receptionist
Who else is using Jobber's AI Receptionist for overflow and after-hours support? We recently implemented it, and while it's not flawless yet, we're finding it to be a game changer compared to traditional voicemail. It's handling calls more efficiently and providing a smoother experience for both our team and clients. I’d love to hear how others are utilizing this feature, what has worked well for you, and what challenges have you encountered? Any tips?
